Demo build — not a client engagement. Dent Metal is a fictional Sofia dental clinic.

Case Study

An AI Assistant That Knows the Business

A demo AI assistant for a fictional Sofia dental clinic. Books real appointments, speaks two languages, and refuses what it should not.

The Problem

Most business AI chatbots are either too generic (ChatGPT with a logo) or too limited (basic FAQs). When a visitor asks something specific — "what is the recovery time after an implant?" or "do you have a Saturday slot?" — the answer is missing, wrong, or a contact form.

For a small business owner, this means lost leads and manual handling of enquiries that AI could take on.

What We Built

We built an AI assistant for the fictional Dent Metal dental clinic in Sofia. The assistant is embedded on the clinic's website and answers questions about the clinic's services, hours, team, and specialists — drawing only from the site's own content, with no fabricated answers.

We then layered on a booking flow that:

  • Offers only genuinely available slots — never invented ones
  • Collects name, contact details, and reason for the visit
  • Handles time zones — tell it you are abroad and it converts to the clinic's Sofia time
  • Asks for explicit consent before committing to anything
  • Confirms with a reference number you can point back to

How It Behaves

Answers accurately from the content

The assistant answers only from the clinic's own pages. It does not invent prices, treatments, or specialists. When it does not know, it says so and points you to a human.

Two languages, no switch

Write in English and it answers in English. Switch to Bulgarian mid-conversation and it follows without a toggle, without a second site.

Books properly, not a form

Asking to book starts a real flow: available slots, data collection, time zone handling, consent, confirmation. Not a contact form in disguise.

Refuses what it should

When someone asks for something outside the clinic's scope — specific medical advice, prices not on the site, something the clinic does not offer — the assistant refuses clearly and points to an appropriate resource.

What We Verified

The following qualitative behaviors were verified by hand:

  • The assistant answers questions about implants, Saturday hours, and specialists for nervous patients accurately from the clinic's own content
  • Language switch mid-conversation works without page reload or toggle
  • The booking flow collects name, email, reason, and time zone and confirms with a reference number
  • The assistant clearly refuses out-of-scope things — specific medical advice, prices not on the site
